  • Welcome to Ladakh! Arrive in Leh and head to your hotel. After check-in, take time to relax. Later, explore Leh Market for local crafts and woolens. Or, visit Leh Palace for history and views of the town. You could also go to Shanti Stupa for peace and beautiful sunrise or sunset views.

  • Enjoy a full day exploring Sham Valley. See Sangam Point, where the green Indus River meets the blue Zanskar River—it’s a stunning sight. Visit Magnetic Hill to witness the strange effect of vehicles appearing to defy gravity. Stop at Gurdwara Pathar Sahib for its calm vibe. Visit SECMOL, the “3 Idiots” school, and end at the Hall of Fame, honoring brave soldiers.

  • Check out and drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass—the highest motorable road! Stop at Khardung La Café for a hot bowl of Maggi among snow-capped peaks. As you go down, watch the landscape change from green to desert. At Hunder, ride a two-humped camel or try an ATV on the sand dunes. Settle into your camp for the night.

  • Reach Pangong and relax in your camp The route hugs Ladakhi peaks and passes streams and a quaint village by the Shyok River. Reach Pangong and relax in your camp. Stroll along the lake and watch its colors change with the mountain backdrop.

  • Depart Pangong and head back to Leh via Chang La Pass. Stop at the Druk Padma Karpo School, a filming location from 3 Idiots. Visit Thiksey Monastery to learn about Ladakhi Buddhism. Return to Leh and check in at your hotel.

  • Drive from Leh to Kargil, starting with Lamayuru Monastery—known for its moon-like terrain and old Buddhist roots. Visit Basgo Palace for its walls and murals. On your way, stop at Mulbek to see the giant rock-carved Maitreya Buddha. Continue to Kargil and check into your hotel.
