  • Welcome to Auckland! After you land, we’ll take you to your hotel. Check in and rest or head out to explore. You might visit Albert Park or the War Memorial Museum. Take a walk by Waitematā Harbour to enjoy waterfront views, or go up to One Tree Hill for city panoramas. Return to your hotel for the night.

  • After breakfast, check out and travel toward Rotorua. En route, visit the Hobbiton Movie Set. Walk through the Shire, see the Hobbit Holes and The Mill, and soak in the magic of Middle-Earth. After the tour, continue on to Rotorua and check in. Later, you can explore Lake Rotorua, Rotorua Museum, or Hell’s Gate Geothermal Park and Mud Spa. Night at the hotel.

  • Today, visit Waimangu Geothermal Valley. Explore boiling mud pools and the world’s youngest geothermal landscapes. Next, head to the Redwoods Treewalk—28 hanging bridges among tall forest trees, with lovely views and soft lights among ferns. After your walk, return to the hotel and relax.

  • Check out from Rotorua and fly to Queenstown (flight cost not included). Once you arrive, we’ll transfer you to your hotel. Then it’s time to unwind or begin exploring. You can visit Queenstown Gardens or the Kiwi Birdlife Park. If you like wine, the Gibbston Valley Winery is a great spot. Stay overnight at your hotel.

  • Your full day is yours to enjoy. Relax at your hotel, or visit Lake Wanaka or Lake Hayes. You might take a cruise on Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm. For views, hike up to Queenstown Hill or take the trail up Bob’s Peak. Return to your hotel at night.

  • Today is a highlight: explore Fiordland National Park. You’ll take a Milford Sound Cruise, passing majestic cliffs, Stirling Falls, and Mitre Peak. Watch for dolphins, seals sunning on rocks, and possibly Fiordland’s penguins. After the cruise, return to Queenstown for your final night.
